Hai Phong establishes two industrial clusters, Quang Phuc and An Tho, with a total area of nearly 100 hectares.

The People’s Committee of Hai Phong has just decided to establish two industrial clusters in the districts of An Lao and Tien Lang with a total investment of nearly 1,000 billion dong.

The An Tho Industrial Cluster (in An Tho commune, An Lao district) covers an area of nearly 50 hectares, with An Tho Joint Stock Company as the investor. The project has a total investment of over 480 billion VND to build technical infrastructure and a wastewater treatment station. The technical infrastructure construction period is from Q4/2024 to Q4/2025.

The Quang Phuc Industrial Cluster (in Quang Phuc commune, Tien Lang district) covers an area of nearly 50 hectares, with Dang Khoa Group Joint Stock Company as the investor. The project has a total investment of nearly 500 billion VND. The technical infrastructure construction period for the Quang Phuc Industrial Cluster is from Q3/2024 to Q3/2025.

Both the An Tho and Quang Phuc industrial clusters are oriented towards attracting industrial projects in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, supporting industries for mechanical engineering and shipbuilding, as well as producing wooden products serving the fields of mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, and ship repair.

Each industrial cluster is planned to cover around 50 hectares, including internal traffic routes, sidewalks, management buildings, water supply and drainage systems, electricity systems, lighting systems, communication systems, and fire prevention and fighting systems. In addition, the Hai Phong People’s Committee invests in building a connecting road between the industrial clusters and Provincial Road 212 to be suitable for the construction progress and technology.

In the near future, Hai Phong City will start a series of key industrial parks such as Tien Thanh Industrial Park (expected to start on May 13, 2023), the industrial and service zone, and Xuan Cau non-tariff zone (expected to start from February 15-20, 2023); the Tien Cuong 2, Dai Thang, Giang Bien industrial clusters (expected to start in April 2023), etc. To meet the demand for land and attract investment into the industrial clusters, Hai Phong City plans to develop 869 hectares of land to form 9 industrial clusters by 2025.
