Inaugurated a 130ha industrial park in Long An
On the morning of March 21, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc cut the ribbon for the 129ha Phuoc Dong wharf Industrial Park.
The industrial park is located in Phuoc Dong commune, Can Duoc district, with IMG Company as the investor. The industrial , has 92 hectares of ready-made factories and warehouses, the main transportation system with 4 lanes of 16m wide, 2 lanes of 8m wide, sidewalks, and internal green plants..
The location of the industrial park is convenient for both by land road and by waterway. For the land road, provincial road 826B passes through the project, connecting National Highway 50 to help go to Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta provinces. For waterways, the area borders the Vam Co river with a total length of more than 3 kilometers, and there will be a wharf in the future.
In his speech at the completion ceremony, the premier affirmed and highly appreciated the efforts and achievements of Long’an Province in attracting investment “The industrial park will make more important contributions to the economic development of the whole province and regions, create jobs for many workers and increase fiscal revenue”. The premier asked LongAn province to create favorable conditions, especially in the context of covid-19 popularity.
Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee awarded investment certificates to many businesses pouring capital into the locality. At present, more than 2,000 domestic investment projects in the province have been licensed, with a registered capital of more than 244,900 billion VND; 1,100 international direct investment (FDI) from 40 countries and regions, with a total capital of nearly US $6.1 billion; more than 12,900 companies are operating with a total capital of more than 343,340 billion VND.
